Mainly these "things".....
1. Oprah- Why wait a year? Just say goodbye now. I used to LOVE Oprah, but lately I just can't get past how judgmental she is about all of her guests. She used to use her show and power as a platform, but now I feel lie she just uses it to rake people over the coals and tell everyone how to live. I'm sorry, but EVERY show can't be groundbreaking and never before seen. The no phone zone pledge is a great idea, but much easier when you don't actually have to chauffeur yourself like the rest of us minions, I imagine. It's done, just be over, don't marry Stedman and help Gayle King figure out how to rule the world.

2.Miley Cyrus- Hannah Montana was adorable and semi-talented, the skanky bird girl in your new video, notsomuch :( and yes, it still counts as skanky if you dress up like any type of "game"and then perform your striptease a la your latest video. Not fooling me twice, although I will admit it's probably not all your fault since your father totally condones the lap dance you gave the producer of your last movie at the wrap party. I can't be sure, but I seriously doubt that's how Sandra Bullock came by her Oscar.

3. Whining-(not to be confused with WINEING-still totally down with this past time). I can tolerate loud, messy, unruly, but the whining gets me every time. I know most of where I go with a 4 year old I set myself up to encounter other whining 4 year olds. I understand, I really do. What I don't understand is the mother who tolerates, or even worse, gives in to this kind of behavior. For some reason I find whining even less attractive on little boys, so I am really working on this with my own son. If you are wondering what does the trick, just tell your whiner this the next time he or she starts up:

So I don't end of a negative note, Chelsea Handler has filled Oprah's void in my life and I am loving Demi Lovato after seeing her on Grey's Anatomy and in the magazines with her cute little Jonas Brother. Still working on the whining...
Ditto on Oprah and Grey's! I couldn't have said it better myself!!
ReplyDeleteOh Oprah--don't get me started on her. I even live in the Chicago area (and have most of my life)and I have yet to go to a show. I just think that she is rather self serving.
ReplyDeleteI agree regarding Oprah --obviously.
I hear ya!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, funny post - as always! I've been over Oprah for some time now - move on, enjoy your millions, and stop judging everyone!
