Our last week of Pre-school is next week. I would normally panic, but one of our planned vacations is actually happening the week after that, so we are looking very forward to getting out of town and not having any of the mishaps a la Griswold style. This is not likely.
So the little fear I do have about "what are we going to do ALL summer" won't set in right away, and we always figure it out, between the pool, playdates,camps, long weekends at the beach, and just hanging around...we manage. It is nice to not have to rush to get out the door in the mornings. I think it's the worst feeling in the world sending your child out the door rushed and harried and stressed, so the summer usually alleviates this most days. What is your favorite thing about summer? How do you answer when the little chorus chimes "Where are we going today?" and breakfast isn't even over!?!
