The Rule of 5....

I had to stop and think about it because I didn't really ever think the number "5" was at all significant to me. After some consideration I've found out that I am WRONG. So let's talk about the number 5.....

* the times per hour it seems like lately that my little one deems it necessary to call me out on something. most likely in public, with half of the story correct, as he shouts on volume 800 so it comes out as "I saw a crothroach when you left me alone at the nature center" instead of "I saw a cockroach in my mad scientist class at the nature center"(a class where I drop him off and then retrieve him an hour later, just to clear that up).

*the number of markers missing from the same little angel's art kit.

* the number of hours it will take at the gym tomorrow to work off what I have eaten and drank this weekend.

*the number of ingredients to make an AWESOME main dish:

This is Claire Robinson, hostess of "The Five Ingredient Fix" on the food network. (Coincidentally 5 is also the number of packs a day it sounds as if she smokes) but once you get past that, you are on your way to culinary perfection.

Two of her recipes, Blue Cheese and Bacon stuffed chicken and these short ribs, are on our menu for the week. I have made both before and was delighted with the outcome. I was really surprised that with a minimal list of ingredients the end product would taste as good as it actually did. 5 ingredients will also prevent you from having to use every pot and pan in your kitchen/ Get cooking and let me know what you think!
