At first I was worried...

This one has a mouth on him. He told me that I ruined his life when I accidentally sucked part of his duvet cover up as I was trying to vacuum up popcorn he felt was better placed on the floor than in his mouth. He called the man with the yellow hat on Curious George a "douchebag" when he had different ideas about disciplining George. He told me that it "sucks for me" when I was complaining about a meeting I was dreading having to attend. Needless to say, I've been a little worried about when and where he is going to put his foot in his mouth.

This is the same mouthy kid collecting coins to fill this bottle to send back to church to help the kids in Haiti, because,"the earth shook and they don't have any lights or band-aids".

We had such a sweet conversation about how easy it was to help someone else, even if you are little. My mom stock was rising and my concern had already diminished a little when he said "Mom, this is for Haiti, not for Starbucks. Even if I'm not watching, God is". Nice. Good to know he's not getting soft on me in his old age.
