My closet is starting to look like this:
because it's now our closet. We used the guest room that the hubs' clothes used to reside in as the nursery for our daughter. So, he had to move somewhere, either the other guest room or into the master closet. I got custody of him. Every morning he comes out of the closet and tells me how I'm "encroaching". That word now has the same effect on me as "moist" or when its pronounced "Nordstrom's". I used to love my closet. I could come out of there all put together, but the whole "process" to get that way was still hidden. Now, there's no mystery left. Well, maybe a little, we have never shared a bathroom, and I swear its the secret to a happy marriage. What is the worst space to share with your sweetie?
Ugh, I got married in August and went from having my own condo with 2 closets and my own dresser to sharing 1 closet and 1 dresser. I miss this as well and did a similar post about it! http://smoochesluvs.blogspot.com/2011/02/friday-funday.html

I have never shared a closet with my husband, which is probably why we are still married:)
ReplyDeleteAgreed, sharing a closet is the worst. My husband says I have taken over the whole house and he has no man space. We too had to move all our clothes out of the guest room when we had a baby. I just keep taking his clothes to goodwill while he is at work to make more room for mine. and the funny thing is he never even misses them!

ReplyDeleteHey, at least y'all have a closet!! The house that we are living in right now is so old that it has NO closet space, and it looks like packrats live there. I cannot wait to be in our new house!
ReplyDeleteBrad will be excited that he is so famous!!;-) We have his picture up in our grocery store, too, and every time I have the kids with me, they say "let's go over there and see Daddy!" and then when we get over to the picture they say "Hey, Daddy!" We get the strangest looks!!
