Exactly.

So I rush home from a fun neighborhood block party (where I spent most of the evening at the firepit making smores, so lets be honest that's a bit of a sacrifice for a preggo) in time to watch Mad Men. I wanted to actually watch Mad Men, not Don Draper tying one on and then seeing it come back up at the end of the hour. Is anyone else extremely disappointed with this season so far? I can see where it SHOULD be good by now, but its just not. Here's hoping Betty Draper goes even more "Mommie Dearest" in the next few weeks to keep (or start things moving along! Happy Labor Day!

  2. I'm not often on your actual site because I get you through my feed, but are you still reading South of Broad? What did/do you think? I wasn't as enamored with it as Conroy's other books (Beach Music is one of my very favorites) but his worst effort is still light years better than most others' best efforts. I was pleased. :)

  3. Oooh! I disagree! :-) I think this season is the best by far and that episode was my all time favorite. The relationship between Don & Peggy is so interesting and it's fun to watch Don's walls slowly come crumbling down... :-)
