What's getting me through?

+
Breakfast of Champions, right?

I will have to say that this pregnancy is totally throwing me for a loop, and I don't like surprises. Completely different from the first go round. Night and day! This first little man was the most well behaved gentleman in the womb and outside it, until he turned 4(but I knew my luck would run out eventually). This little peanut, so far, has thrown the rule book out the window and is completely fearless in terms of making mommy uncomfortable. The Breakfast of Champions pictured above is more like every meal for me. The Zofran does NOTHING for me, and every time I think I'm turning a corner, up the breakfast comes :( Enough complaining though, the end result will make all this seem like a distant memory, but I'm dying to know....if your pregnancies were vastly different was the sex of your baby different each time? That's what I'm hearing and I'm having so much fun trying to figure out if my little man is getting a brother or a sister!

  1. Ooh lady! I was thinking maybe this could mean a girlie is on the way? hope you feel better soon! Have you tried crystalized ginger candies? You can get them at world market, or fresh market places. It is supposed to help with the nausea?

  2. Oh hun! I can SO relate! Zofran did help me a bit but it just caused (AHEM!) issues on the other end. With each pregnancy, I've been sicker-this last one was horrible. I sure hope you start feeling better soon and can just enjoy it all!

  4. No fun!!! For me, I was sure that #2 just HAD to be a girl because the sickness... everything was sooooo different and low-and-behold another boy! So, who knows. Hang in there! Glad to hear your Dad is doing okay... keeping him in our prayers!

  6. Oh no! So sorry to hear you are having a rough time of it - if the Zofran isn't working, then you definitely have one hell of a bad case of morning sickness!

  7. I am currently pregnant with my first child (girl) and was really sick the first four months. My sister recently had a boy and was not sick at all..I personally believe your body behaves differently depending on the sex of the child but I'm sure others have had opposing theories. Congrats!
