and now I can relax...

a few things keeping me up at night have finally been resolved:

1. Chelsea Handler finally wore a decent outfit on last night's show. I have been waiting for this day.

2. My love of cooking has returned. Round the clock morning sickness has made my husband a regular staple at Jersey Mike's, Chipolte, and our local Italian restaurant for the last 8 weeks. Fortunately, this seems to be a trend of the past(fingers crossed)...

3. I am convinced morning sickness is called "morning" sickness because that's the only time husbands are around to witness this curse. You will elicit MAD sympathy and get GREAT gifts if your husband has to leave for work while you are curled up in a ball on the bathroom floor while your 4 year old attempts to swing from his curtains like Jack Sparrow.

4. The aforementioned 4 year old seems to FINALLY understand that Captain Sparrow is a ficticious character and has given up trying to BE him after the curtains came off the wall and he was punished numerous times for responding "Name your terms" when given a set of instructions. He is still pushing for "Will Turner", however, if the baby is a boy.

If you are still reading, God Bless You, and I hope your week is turning around a little, too!

  1. Have we discussed the Chelsea Handler wardrobe situation before? Sometimes I feel like you might read my mind. WHAT IS UP with the awful outfits she wears? Also, I have finally started cooking again. How far along are you?

  7. Oh I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I had it too with my second and I had to close down the kitchen (in part) for a while too. I can tell you there is light on the other side and hopefully you're fairly close!
