3 posts in a day (I know I am doing nothing to combat my previous statements that I don't spend all day on the computer) but this is largely related to the fact that having a little one not feeling well makes me feel like I have complete carte blanche to do nothing related to the day to day organization of this house so I can be at his beck and call (does anyone else feel like this?) Since I have been hanging out watching Tom and Jerry all afternoon I have had ample time to think and compile a list of questions I am hopeful you will have at least a few answers to:1. WTH is happening on Y&R? Is the fake Lauren Sheila or not? I apologize in advance if you thought these were going to be life altering pontifications :(
2. Have you ever seen someone have such an unusual and inappropriate reaction to a situation that instead of getting mad, you just feel sorry for them? I was apparently (and inadvertently) blocking a woman with the largest land yacht I have ever seen from her parking space at Target this morning. Once she got my attention (because silly me, I was watching for oncoming traffic instead of worrying about how she was going to park her tourbus) and I will leave out the details of HOW she got my attention, because I am a lady and because I don't want my little blog flagged by homeland security, she proceeded to scream obscenities that would make a sailor blush WITH 2 kids in tow. Apparently I looked very menacing because after she got herself under control, she sent her daughter back outside to stand guard in case I got crazy with jealousy and tried to damage her sweet crown victoria, because nothing screams Mom of the year like having your teenager be your bouncer. I said a quick prayer that (1) Thank goodness she wasn't a COMPLETE psycho who was packing and (2) her kids emancipation petitions (because let's face it, that's inevitable) go through without a hitch. YIKES......what else do you say?
3. I am LOVING all the jewelry at Anthropologie. I haven't had great luck with the last few online orders I've placed, which has made me pledge to only buy in store, which led to a jewelry love affair of epic proportions. Check it out.
4. DVR'd Young and the Restless has ended during the course of this post, so question #1 has been answered!
5. Isn't checking stuff off your list the best?
YAYYYY for checking items off of lists!!!!!! Best therapy ever!
ReplyDeleteHope your little one feels better soon! Love crossing things off lists - it's a running joke in my family that I make lists of lists to be made. :) That woman at Target sounds like a hot mess...
ReplyDeleteRead your blog....first time commenter. Girl, I hear ya on on a sick kid. Hope they are feeling better. Y&R. I've started my own little chatfest on FB w/me friends who are in the closet about watching it. They only know how to change people's faces....everyone wants to look like the other one...gotta love it.
