Spring has sprung. You know what that means...if the sun's out, bring on the madras and seersucker. My little man sang in church on Sunday and actually asked to sport a bowtie. That's either a sign of spring or the apocolypse, I'm still trying to decide. My favorite part of the whole ensemble is that the only item I paid full price for was the shoes! Do you have those outfits that your mind automatically reverts back to when you think of a certain time in your baby(ies)'s life? I love that when I think of the 6 month period I picture the most perfect little madras bubble with smocked crabs on it. I hope this is what I remember when I think back on 4 1/2...this perfect little morning and not the 5 seconds after when he asked what "Friends with benefits" meant while we were on the way to church....

So funny!!! Kids pick up the funniest things. When I was a camp counselor, I had a camper who spent the whole morning telling his fellow campers what a honeymoon was. I heard them talking about these crazy things in references to honeymoons and realized what was going on. So I had to spend the afternoon explaining to each parent at pickup what had happened. I was mortified!!!
