In my head while I am running I am as effortless as Kelly Ripa appears and I am also in Central Park thinking about what my stylist is going to have me wear for the morning's show with Regis. (Whatever gets you through to the finish line, right?) When I am thrust back into reality and realize I will not be going home with Mark Consuelos later, all I can think about is how I need some new songs on the Ipod. What are your favorites. Don't be shy, the cheesier the better. If you found my Ipod on the ground and listened to it to try and figure out who it belonged to, I swear you would return it to either a 14 year old girl or an 80 year old woman. The more eclectic the selection, the better!!ps- if any of you own any style of Frye boots, tell me all about them, I'm about to break down and buy a pair I think, but I want to know if you love or hate them first!
just updated mine... LOVE LOVE LOVE all my new songs!
ReplyDeleteI had some frye boots in the 80s loved them. No boot buying for me. Spring is almost here... need some cute spring shoes!!!
Man my ipod ranges from old rock, to clasic rock, to country, to hiphop, to.....you name it it's on there!
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say I have had the same songs on my iPod for years....my stuff is mostly from the 60's, 70's and 80's with a little Party in the USA thrown in. {haha}..The song Eye of the Tiger is my number one workout song in my playlist and it gets me pumped every time. I also have songs we listen to while we are out on the lake {john mellencamp and stuff like that} cause when I hear them I think of being in a bathing suit and it just makes me run harder! Good luck...can't wait to hear the songs you pick!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I should put music on my ipod! I have a little mp3 player I sometimes take out with me - it is full of broadway soundtracks!
ReplyDeleteDon't laugh but I love Outkast to work out too! And I am not really into that kind of music but it motivates me!! So fun. I also have a big mix of some beach music & a huge fan of 80's soundtracks!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, boy bands are the best. You are running and then Larger than Life comes on and you just get happy and run faster.
ReplyDeleteDamn Kelly Ripa and her perfect little body....sigh. I am really liking the Black Eyed Peas' new song, "Imma Be".
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! I should try thinking I am someone else next time I'm running. Maybe then I won't think "I hate running, I hate running, I hate running". My all time go to song for getting in the groove of running is Mos Def "Ms Fat Booty. As soon as I hear it I can coast.
ReplyDeleteFrye boots...yum. I have heard they are extremely uncomfortable until you break them in and then they fit like a glove. Let me know if you find a good deal on them. I have had my eye on pair all winter but can't justify spending $ on boots when spring is around the corner.
Frye boots are my obsession. I fell in love with a pair this winter, but had just gotten some BCBG ones. My mom has a pair and says they are her most comfortable shoes!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the Glee CD. I hear Don't Stop Believing and I just keep on truckin (well really more like weezing and barely running faster than a walk).
i have an unhealthy obsession with frye boots. seriously. go to my blog when i talk about christmas presents to see the ones i just got. Love.them.
