your husband will do anything you ask. promise. I love reading cookbooks(not on a Friday night or anything) and I found this one after first discovering Ree Drummond's blog. Go take a look, you will wonder where the next 2 hours go! At first I didn't think this would be anything I would have any interest at all in, but I could not have been more wrong. She puts so many stereotypes to rest....NO..she is not laura ingalls wilder nor does she own any denim jumpers or jeans with elastic waists that I ALWAYS see the homeschool moms in my Barnes and Nobles sporting. The story of how she met her husband is adorable and her blog offers so many simple yet useful household tips you will actually go and try them rather than just spouting them off to your girlfriends over dinner to sound like the domestic goddess they think you are.

ps- the first dish I made that gave me super powers over the hubs was the shortribs. I picked this dish because I have the same pot PW is sporting on the cover of her book, so of course that made me a culinary genius as well. It worked.
