Because Nothing Says

like the staggering $14 I collected through "contributions" for a class Christmas gift this year. Oh, and there are 2 teachers in my son's class so at $7/teacher. I've seen at least one new nose and MORE than one set of new "enhancements"(if you get my drift) being sported at drop-off and I can't even collect enough money to cover a venti latte for 2 wonderful teachers who go above and beyond to drop off book orders at home and call to check on sick children. So much for the season of giving :(

  1. Hopefully everyone is getting their own gift for the teacher. What grade is this? I just picked up Godiva chocolates and B&N GCs for my boys' teachers. I am always generous, but then again I am a teacher! lol

  3. OMG, that is so ghetto that nobody would contribute! There was a mom collecting for my daughter's 1st grade teacher, and I gave her $10, even though I had already bought another $20 gift too. I found out today what they bought and it was a $75 gift card. There are 13 kids in the class, so that's only an average of $5.75/kid. People are so damn cheap, I gave $10 and I had already bought a gift! I guess it's not as bad as what you collected though:( Rude, rude, rude!
