Words I'd Never Thought I'd Say (or type)...

Trying to reason with a 4 year old is much like trying to nail jello to the wall...it's just a wasted, futile effort. I've actually started to write down some of the things that I've heard coming out of my mouth lately. Let's just say it doesn't sound like June when she was talking to Wally or the Beav!

"No, please don't pee in our driveway or any one else's driveyway".

"Yes, you do have to wear pants to school today."

"You can't marry your cousin."

and then there are the questions that always get asked before sufficient coffee intake:

"Momma, what is the difference between the short school bus and the regular one?"

"Can I wear my pjs to school since you drive me to school in yours?"

"Is Daddy getting on your nervous(nerves)?"

They are always thinking, aren't they??
