As if Jon Gosselin crying on Larry King last night wasn't enough, the celebrities are just giving me too much to work with this week. Its a goldmine out there! Now I will turn my attention to the esteemed words of the illustrious Ms. Goldberg. I am a HUGE Elisabeth Hasselbeck fan, so that should tell you where I stand on the Whoopi front. If Elisabeth was back from maternity leave this would have grabbed a lot more attention because Im sure a huge debate would have ensued...but here it is. During "hot topics" on The View, the ladies were discussing the whole Roman Polanski debacle and she decided to refresh everyone's memory in case anyone had forgotten that he raped a 13 year old girl. Whoopi (the mother of a daughter mind you) quickly dismissed it saying it "wasn't rape-rape" as if there are categories of severity here. I'm pretty sure when a 13 year old is drugged and not of the age to consent it is in fact "rape-rape". Equally as disconcerting is the way Hollywood is rallying around this pig. I really can only muster the reaction of disbelief on both accounts!

She said WHAT!? Why does everyone think it is okay to DRUG a 13 yr old and have sex with her!? I am mystified. I cannot believe people are rallying around this guy.
ReplyDeleteHi! I have visited often but never commented. However I just had to today. Your post about Jon Gosslin was great especially the comment about New Moon. He just doesn't get it. He may be better off without Kate but she is definitely better off without him. And I am a Whoopi fan but please! She has lost it. I DO NOT get these people defending this man. I am appalled. I can't even believe we are having to discuss this. If it was a "regular" person we wouldn't be. Sorry I vented a little. Anyway keep up the good work.
