Oh August....the month of transition that makes me crazy!!
1. Target has been gearing up for school (and Halloween) since July 4th, but alas, this blessed event still seems far far away.
2.Our beach vacation has come and gone. Worst. decision. ever. to take vacation early. That is one long hot summer staring you in the face before Memorial Day even gets here.
3. The novelty of the pool has worn off for my little one. Granted it's not an infinity pool in Cancun, that's what I now have to tell myself when I drag him there because he'd rather watch Clifford and play with Transformers than have any contact with sunlight by this point of the summer.
I hate to wish the summer away, but all the new catalogs and window shopping is getting to me! What's your favorite thing about summer ending?
Eight... count 'em ... EIGHT hours of FREEDOM!!!

ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, I look forward to the beginning of school and getting back into a routine. I love buying back to school goodies and meeting my new children. I have a few more weeks before we head back so I'm trying to make the most of them!
