I've been completely enthralled and entangled with this story since it broke on March 17th. I don't know if it's because I love Lisa Ling (this goes back to watching her during homeroom on Channel One news wondering how she got her hair so shiny when she was actually trying to make the news entertaining for teenagers) or the fact that Euna Lee is a mother who was separated from her husband and child for 4 months, but I have been following this story so closely. I just watched with my son as Laura Ling and Euna Lee were reunited with their families. I told him " Isn't that so amazing that God kept these ladies safe so they could come home to their families?"...his response "Momma, how did they get that plane so shiny?"....the impact of the moment was a little lost on him, but I'm glad he got to see it. I can't believe Im praising Bill Clinton, (I think I just saw a flying pig outside my window)...but WELL DONE!(So Bill, there's no chance you traded that wife of yours for the release of Ling and Lee, is there?)
